My art is mostly done in Watercolour, Acrylic and Oils, and all the paintings are for sale from my gallery page.
I was born In Jamaica and immigrated to London in my teens. After a series of different jobs I ended up working for a bank where I met and married my husband. We moved with the family to Hertfordshire where I still live today. Having lost my husband to cancer I decided on a career move and took up drawing and painting at the Local College, I then went on to complete a Fine Art Course. My work reflects my lifestyle and the things that most inspire me. A love of nature and the urban landscape & a desire to give back to the world are driving forces in my creative process a vision to share joy is personified in my work, I hope it brings you joy.
I have exhibited and successfully sold work at The Pine Walk in Bournemouth, Campus West In Welwyn Garden City, Forty Hall in Enfield, The Art Shop Cheshunt and Portland the Gallery Richmond. My work has been acquired as far afield as Canada, Thailand, The US and South Africa. I am now learning the Mische Technique by world renowned artist Brigid Marlin. I think as an Artist I have to strive to do better so I try to go on a master class at least twice a year just for the challenge and also to see what others are painting.
Although I work in different mediums my preference is Acrylic as I like the strong bold colours it allows, its also quick drying so I can continue working without the fear of disturbing the previous colour.

My painting has been featured in Hertfordshire Life Magazine. and on the front cover of the AXIS Magazine
I have also just completed a series of three painting for the B & Breakfast Spa in Montego Bay Jamaica.
